Hi, I have some doubt about putting XDM in the arguments of this topic.
Perhaps it's my limited knowledge but I do not know any case of people using XDM to setup a display manager. In all the cases I know people are using GDM or KDM, according to what is installed on the server as desktop environment. The setup of a display manager is a good argument, but it seems to me that learning the obscurities of XDM is not worth the effort, given the existence of such alternatives, and the fact that the exam is geared towards junior sysadmin.
