Hi Andy, There's "three" types (well, 2 really but...): MCSA - Multiple Choice Single Answer There will be 4-5 (A-D or A-E) choices and 1 must be picked. They don't say "select one" but the wording (typically) makes it clear that there is one choice to pick. MCMA - Multiple Choice Multiple Answer These ones almost always have 5 choices. If the wording of the question isn't explicit then there is always a "(Please select TWO correct answers)" type of statement at the end. NB: If the question doesn't say how many to pick, it is MCSA. FITB - Fill in the Blank The questions are very clear. Similar to the MCMA, there will be a qualifying statement such as "(Please supply the command only without arguments or parameters)". If the path is required to the command or file, it will be asked for. If path information isn't specified (or explicitly told not to be entered), the answer will take both pathed and pathless responses. > Is it at all possible to get some screenshots of the actual exam > software (without any actual questions!!) - only LPI themselves will > be able to do that. I'm reviewing some exams now. Trust me, they intentionally underwhelming. A Sans Serif font (around 14 pt, it seems) with a Mono spaced font for technical terms, config file snippets, code, commands, etc. Other than that, key things like TWO and NOT are bolded and that's about it. PS - I know there's a lot of other questions about exam content sitting on the list for me to look at. I haven't forgotten, just a little swamped. I'll answer them before the exam launch, though :) HTH, --matt _______________________________________________ lpi-examdev mailing list [email protected] http://list.lpi.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/lpi-examdev
