Hi
In this topic :
109.1 Demonstrate an understanding of network masks
Does that mean we need to know what a class A, B and C network is ?
e.g. Class C is 255.255.255.0 or /24
Should we know that in CIDR /25 equals to netmask 255.255.255.128 ?
Do we need to be able to work out the Network Address if we are given
the IP and Netmask ?
What about working out the Broadcast address ?
The above involves converting to binary and then doing addition etc
to work out the answer.
Regards
Andy
