Hi everyone,
There is a new version of the Item Writing Guide available on the wiki.
Yes, this is a hint that we're going to be running a contest of sorts wrt
item writing soon. I'm still trying to figure out what a good prize would
be. This device looked really cool but isn't being released for a while (and
they told me it's going to be hard to get one of the first ones):

Other ideas are welcome.
Also, I've added a new page to the wiki at:
https://group.lpi.org/publicwiki/bin/view/Examdev/VolunteerItemWriting
If anyone would like to take a look at the new guide and offer some feedback,
that would be great.
This new version pushes all that boring stuff about Taxonomies and Learing
objectives into an Appendix.
The new format starts with an intro, a bulleted list of tips, then the
details on each tip.
Also, a number of people have helped work on this document (thanks to David
Nuttall for this last revision). I would like to add them to a contributors
page in the document/wiki page. If you guys could pipe up, I'll get you
added. Alan McKinnon, you're one of the main authors, IIRC.
Regards,
