They are interesting topic, but they are very advanced in LDAP administration; I see proxy replication as a quite a more common issue. I have many cases in which I have to do a replication to a server outside a firewall, while I was just thinking to implement dynamic group in a single case. And if slurpd, that could to this, will be removed, I think that proxy replication should be added.
