Ah, I 'corrected' the addendum to 3.x.  The rest of the objectives
stated 3.x kernels (not 3.0).

I know it doesn't address your concern directly.  However, I know that
if I remove all version information, LPI'll be constantly asked which
versions of the kernel are covered.

And that would be a legitimate question to ask; ie. what does the
difference in the number of kernel versions mean.
