SLE 11 and RHEL 6 could be considered the oldest distributions still in common use, and they have deprecated slurpd in favor of syncrepl. OpenLDAP 2.4, which most distributions now use, only has syncrepl. Slurpd should be removed, though awareness of legacy slurpd in 303.3 (LDAP Replication) might still be useful.
PS It might be worth mentioning 389/Fedora/Red Hat Directory Server.
