Yeah,  I know.  If you look at the CHANGES file and the configure --help
you will see:

  --enable-kerberos                 enable kerberos support
  --enable-mit_kerberos4            enable MIT Kerberos 4 support
  --disable-kerberos_checks         disable kerberos library location and checki

I got a lot a flack from Non-US folks who DON'T want to have to
turn this stuff off.

Try it again.
