Patrick,

I removed the '_transperency' queue last night, and I'm
not getting any duplicates. '-Ztransparency' works as
well.

So now the question is how do I implement a separate
queue for transparencies??? What I was doing before
seems to be causing the trouble.

I don't know if this is of any use, but last night I did
see the following:

Printer: n114rgb@tattoo 'Tek Phaser 550 in server room'
 Queue: 4 printable jobs
 Server: pid 5799 active
 Unspooler: pid 10022 active
Status: waiting for subserver to exit at 21:47:56.744
Rank Owner/ID Class Job Files Size Time
active carter@nikola+515 M 515 /u/carter/test.ps 54127 21:41:37
active carter@nikola+516 M 516 /u/carter/test.ps 54127 21:41:38
3 carter@nikola+517 M 517 /u/carter/test.ps 54127 21:41:38
4 carter@nikola+518 M 518 /u/carter/test.ps 54127 21:41:42

I wouldn't thing that two 'active' jobs would be a good thing.

Thanks for your help,
mjc
