It seems as though the newest LPRng available on the ftp site,
LPRng-3.6.21, is not complete. Not only is it a third of the size of
previous versions (a feat I would happily ascribe to a strict rewrite of
the code), but untarring the tarball fails miserably once it reaches the
HOWTO/LISA98.ppt file.

On an unrelated note, I have to admit to preferring the old style of the
HOWTO on the web site, where each chapter was broken up into a smaller,
easier-to-download-over-a-crappy-internet-connection pieces. Grabbing
the whole Mb of HOWTO to look for one point is killing me. Though I have
to admit, contrariwise, it is a lot easier to find that point by doing a
find in page in my browser. Geez, how wishy-washy I've become - is it
possible to have both the old (chapter by chapter) and the new (the
whole big hunker) style available? Or is that just to demanding of
someone who has already written an extraordinary piece of software, he
said in a vain attempt to butter up Patrick?
