I've got a question for the Tek Phaser gurus. I'm using the following:
lprng-3.6.9
ifhp-3.3.13
redhat-6.2
Tek Phaser 550 w/ lower tray assembly (transparency media in the upper
tray, and paper in the middle and lower)
If the 'Default Tray' is set via the front panel to 'Paper', printing
defaults to paper and transparencies can be selected using 'lpr -Ztransparency'.
If the 'Default Tray' is set to 'AutoSelect', then jobs are printed
on transparency media (since that's what's in the upper tray), but
using '-Zpaper' doesn't select paper media.
The user manual says that "selections that are made using a supported
printer driver override the settings on the printer's front panel". Is
this a lie, or is ifhp broken?
