This was my original thought. Probably this in combination with no'2 here will
produce a somewhat complete system. Ie when the user runs out of printquota
mail him and point it out. And then every subsequent attempt to print will
simply be stopped by the wrapper. Not the best way in any way, but probably
the only one really working..

Exactly, printing a paper with every printout is indeed a waste of paper. Would
be cool to get the printer-display to point it out tho, although noone is
probably around to read it :/

Guess there is no way to get lpr to preprocess stuff in any way before it is
sent to the server?
