If you have a synchronized backup print server then why not simply pull
the plug off the first one and let the second take over? This is what
I've done here where I have a main server load balancing a few printers
and if that should go down the backup server comes online... You could
even make the backup server controll the primary ones power supply so it
shuts it down when it doesn't seem responsive... Since the secondary
server is an exact mirror of the primary configuration the clients
should still be able to keep printing to the same location...
