I am sorry, if my post goes second time ...
Recently we have installed HP 4050TN LJ printer in our LAN.
As the print server we have Linux machine with lprng installed on it.
Our problem is how to send jobs with/emulating 'Z' options to this printer
from Solaris machines or other Linux machines which do not have
lprng intalled. For example, is it possible to use their standard "lpr" or
"lp" in order to switch duplex mode ? Or should we
install lprng in all the machines?
Up tp now i did not find a way to solve this problem. Solaris
lp/lpr do not pass -o parameters other than they explicitely define.
Thanks in advance for help.
