Patrick,
I tried out the lp_server programm of yours. One question to it:
How can I manage to print with it not to a real printer, but to a
virtual queue on the system? This is realted to my AIX - LPRng time
problem, where the printjobs came only every 40 secs.
When I start the lp_server, and start a printjob on the AIX to it,
the lp_server crushes with a "no Device found" message, even though I
connected it to a queue on the LPR_ng Server.
What I want to do is start the lp_server programm and connect it to
a virtual queue on the machine, that distributes th job further on to
other queues, depending on the content of the printjob (done by an
own filter, that works well).
Any hints?
Cheers
Dietmar
