You can also modify the ifhp.conf entry if you have dvips available
on your system. You can add the following to the ifhp.conf file
which will update the default configuration.

dvips= [ /usr/local/teTeX/bin/i386-pc-flashman/dvips -q -f \%s{dvips_flags} ]
file_output_match += [
*tex_dvi* filter \%s{dvips}
]
WARNING: you may find that you have SEVERAL versions of dvips on your
system. You may find the conversion process is much faster if you
create the necessary fonts first - see the documentation buried in the
TeX stuff. You may need to chown/chgrp the font directory so that
the user/group that LPRng runs as has write access.
