I have downloaded and built, being such an impatient fellow, the version
of ifhp in the private directory on the LPRng web site (called 3.4.1 in
the title of the tarball but referred to as 3.3.22 in the VERSION file
in the tarball and with entries labeled 3.3.23 in the CHANGES file), and
it does in fact solve the problem that Jerry Damian pointed out with
regard to AppSocket printing to Phaser 850 DP printers. Jerry had said
that he was going to wait for the version to be "ready for prime time",
and I will likely do the same, but have one question...any idea how long
prime time will be in coming?
Like I said, an impatient fellow. Give 'em a great piece of software and
they'll still find something about which to gripe. ;-)
