Yes RedHat is moving to LPRng, and rpms (LPRng-3.6.22) are available in
rawhide ( ftp.valinux.com/pub/mirrors/redhat/.... )
(IFHP isnt in rawhide - I don't now what this is, anyway)
Hopefully, the PPA integration still works.
(You can test it for us!)
use the latest printool-3.53 and rhs-printfilters-1.76 from rawhide,
(these are the only rpms involving PPA support)
plus whatever else LPRng also needs, and you should be OK.
rebuild the SRPMS on your 6.2 system. You will need the
latest RH6.2 update of rpm for this.
