As the one who packages the Debian lprng package, i get some emails or
bug reports from users upgrading lprng versions.

Most of the troubles come from bad /etc/printcaps. LPRng may of ignored
something or done something the wrong way in the past with the wrong
/etc/printcap file which gave the right result. Upgrade LPRng and
suddenly the wrong thing in /etc/printcap is actually wrong.

#1 is always the old sd=/dev/null for remote printer problem.
#2 is some problem when you are not going through the local lpd but
directly talk to the printer.
