Thanks. I've got more or less what I need now. RFC1759 specifies a
standard MIB for network attached printers, which has a number of useful
values in it. The first link above seems to have some nice bits too.
After speaking to HP technical, I've got hold of their MIB for the
values made available by the JetDirect card. They gut I spoke to at HP
indicated that they do not make this available for download, as SNMP,
like TFTP, is not really supported... Apparently the MIB's do ship with
HP Openview, but as I don't have that, I can't verify.
