Hi,
i've noticed another difference between 3.6.22 and 3.6.26:
If a user does have the permission to connect to a server, but not
to print, he doesn't get an error message when using lpr:
Example with a permission file containing "ACCEPT SERVICE=X \\ REJECT":
----- cut ------------------------------------------------------------
homer@lisa [~] >>lpr -Ptestleo test.ps
homer@lisa [~] >>
----- cut ------------------------------------------------------------
With 3.6.22 it looks like this:
----- cut ------------------------------------------------------------
homer@lisa [~] >>lpr -Ptestleo test.ps
Status Information:
sending job 'homer@lisa+512' to lw-e3-guru-test@andros
connecting to 'andros', attempt 1
connected to 'andros'
requesting printer lw-e3-guru-test@andros
sending control file 'cfA512lisa' to lw-e3-guru-test@andros
job 'homer@lisa+512' transfer to lw-e3-guru-test@andros failed
error 'NONZERO RFC1179 ERROR CODE FROM SERVER' with ack 'ACK_FAIL'
sending file 'cfA512lisa' to lw-e3-guru-test@andros
error msg: 'lw-e3-guru-test: no permission to print'
