Hi all,
we have set up a printcap with a load balanced queue quick_hp
(LPRng3.7.1 / Linux 2.2.14). This queue works quite good. There is still
a problem if someone prints to one of the other queues hp_1 or hp_2 (eg.
to use special paper). The jobs are queued but sometimes the are not
printed. Sometimes the job is printed just after the other printer
finished a job. A lpc start hp_1 or hp_2 or quick_hp solves the problem.
I have added lpd_poll_time#60 to the printcap to force a polling of the
spooldirs, but nothing changed.
Any hints??
