I have an HP 2100 printer (postcript is supported). But when I
print, only text files seem to get thru the filter. Both types
of files return status JSUCC but if you look at the filter output
it says that 0 pages where printed for the postcript file (which
is true since nothing comes out of the printer).
Here is a capture of what happens when I print /etc/printcap
[root@fs1 incoming]# lpr -V /etc/printcap

My /etc/printcap file looks like this:
[root@fs1 incoming]# cat /etc/printcap

:sh:\
:if=/usr/libexec/filters/ifhp:
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Alberto
