Hi,

        I have LPRng Ver.3.6.12-8, and I use the accounting command
'ae' in the '/etc/lprng/lpd.conf' :

ae=end-job $n $P $b $t

This command works well but give me the size of the job in bytes.

Is it possible to count the number of page which was printed by the user
instead of the size in bytes (without using a 'big' filter software) ??

P.S. : I have two IP printers ('rm' and 'rp' function) : one is an HP4000N
and one the other is an HP4050N (N mean jetdirect hardware included in the
printer).

Thanks in advance.
Best regards.
Vincent FARGET.
