Is the password on the panel, or on the web interface?
There is a button combination to enter in a service mode on HP printers.
I do have the one for HP8100, it should be the same on 5si. If not, ask
around or contact HP.
Original HP Statement:
"The service mode should be used only by authorized service personell. While
in service mode you can:
Verify and set the page count and serial number
Set the cold reset paper size default
.....
and so on.

You enter the mode via:
1.)Hold down SELECT and JOB CANCEL while powering on the printer, 8until all
lights are illuminated and the Display is blank (If the display reads
INTERNAL TEST at this point, the keys were released too soon.Repeat until
successfull)
2.)Press mENU, then SELECT. The message SERVICE MODE is displayed briefly,
then the printer autom begins an INTERNAL TEST. After several seconds, both
control panel indicators turn off (The printer may display WARMING UP, if
not yet completely done)
After the printer has warmed up and passed the self test, SERVICE MODE is
displayed.
3.Press menue once to display SERVICE MENU.
Be carefull to know what yioure doing. No waranties for that.
