The the strange thing is...
I get this even if I do a "lpr whatever" and the printer is turned off!

mogh:~ # lpq
Printer: minolta@mogh  'Minolta Page Pro SL'
 Queue: no printable jobs in queue
 Status: job 'root@mogh+810' removed at 16:24:43.023
mogh:~ #

But cat file.txt > /dev/lp0 works fine. (blocks if the printer is turned off!)

What the *#$ is wrong here?
