Thanks for the info what you said make perfect sense but when I try to bind 
both IP in lpd.conf it doesn't work as it should.

First I tried:
lpd_port=192.168.0.1%515
lpd_port=127.0.0.1%515
then:
lpd_port=192.168.0.1%515,127.0.0.1@%515
then:
lpd_port=192.168.0.1%515/127.0.0.1@%515
and probably ever other seperator I could think of. How would I write both 
of these IP's into the lpd.conf so it works the way it should.

"localhost" is 127.0.0.1, the loopback interface address; you should almost
certainly make sure that lpd binds to the loopback interface as well as
your internal interface.
