Greetings! Has anyone worked with a Xante Accel-a-writer 8300, or more specifically, does anyone have a workable printcap entry for one? I am working (slowly) with Xante's tech support, but since their web site mentions only Mac and Windows, I feel their UNIX support might be a little stretched. What is the best way to test a printer that you're unsure of re: printcap settings? I would suppose that sending stuff in a raw format is a start, but beyond that, any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!!! ....k -- *-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-* Kevin Freels, Systems Administrator 415/553.8000 (w) Wild Brain, Inc. 415/850.3273 (c) 2650 18th Street, San Francisco, CA 94110 415/553.8009 (f) *-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-* "When you find yourself in the company of a halfling and an ill-tempered Dragon, remember you do not have to outrun the Dragon, you just have to outrun the halfling." -anon ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU MUST BE A LIST MEMBER IN ORDER TO POST TO THE LPRNG MAILING LIST The address you post from MUST be your subscription address If you need help, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or lprng-requests or lprng-digest-requests) with the word 'help' in the body.
