Hi All,
I have LPRng installed with Samba 2.2 and I am using md5 for user
level authentication. This works fine with unix machines(with Lprng lpr
client which supports username).
Can anybody suggest how can I get user level authentication with NT
clients. OR how can I enable windows clients to print only through samba.
I have enabled network printers through samba. But when an NT client tries
to print, it directly talks to the lpd server, which I think is a security
hole. I want it to go through samba only.
Can anybody help with this ?
