Hello,
I am seeking a setup for a WAN printer on a dialup line.

This setup should stop the complete queue if a job
did not finish printing in a given time.

The main problem is if the printer is switched to offline and all other
network stuff is working ok. Under this circumstances I
can not manage to get the job in a failed status.

I wish the following behaviour:

1. Start printing
2. Check max print time
3. If max print time is exceeded the complete queue should stop (printing, not
spooling)

Any ideas ???

Bye
  Rainer Tammer
