I recently acquired an HP 1055CM and need some advice. Can someone who is running one share some knowledge with me?
Existing LPRng setup, which is based around a single spooler with LPRng 3.7.4 and ifhp 3.4.4, seems to work well with usual HP laserjets. Not working too well with the plotter. I would like to just talk to it by the usual ifhp port 9100 methods to it's JetDirect port. Should I go parallel instead? For one thing I don't know what model to use, I tried several like the HP DJ 1200 types and it seems that things like page accounting are not supported is this correct?
