I don't know why so many people keep placing status@ in their printcaps on their first run. Is there something funny in a HOWTO or somewhere that suggests this, or is the tool doing it, or...?
Accounting is part of the status messages and placing status@ will turn off reading the status from the printers (meaning there will be no numbers to play with). Oh... heh, and you even have pagecount@ <-- the @ sign means that the feature is turned OFF.
