When using force_ipaddr_hostname on LPRng versions 3.8.2 and 3.8.4 (but
*not* with 3.8.1), I get errors like the following:

lp: Check_for_missing files: missing data file 'dfA046ADDR127.0.0.1' at
2002-01-03-23:11:41.583 ## A=<NULL> number=0 process=23047

more details:
OS: Linux (for 3.8.2, 3.8.4) and Solaris 8 (for 3.8.4, after
        deleting src/common/lpd_dispatch.c:180)
    configure options: --prefix=/usr/local/LPRng --disable-setuid
    lpd.conf options:
        just "force_ipaddr_hostname"

It looks like this should be easily verifiable and not a portability
issue, but let me know if more detail is needed.
