I have a problem that has only recently started. Whenever I run either checkpc or lpc status all I am receiving an error of 'Too many open files'. This error started after the 250, or there abouts, queue was created. I searched the archives and found no clear solution. Some have suggested a system limit problem or the version of LPRng that I am running. I am running LPRng 3.7.4 with ifhp 3.4.4 on Solaris 8. I have tried compiling LPRng 3.8.5 but I received this error message
./common/lpd_dispatch.c: In function `Service_connection': ./common/lpd_dispatch.c:180: `AF_LOCAL' undeclared (first use in this function) ./common/lpd_dispatch.c:180: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once ./common/lpd_dispatch.c:180: for each function it appears in.) gmake[1]: *** [lpd_dispatch.lo] Error 1 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/home/fausey/builds/Solaris/LPRng-3.8.5/src' gmake: *** [src] Error 2 Rob Fausey. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU MUST BE A LIST MEMBER IN ORDER TO POST TO THE LPRNG MAILING LIST The address you post from MUST be your subscription address If you need help, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or lprng-requests or lprng-digest-requests) with the word 'help' in the body.
