Hello, Just wondering if anyone is doing successful separate bw and color page counting from the same printer/job. Example: Grad student prints thesis which is 100 pages total, 4 of which have color graphs. He can print the whole thing to a bw printer, send the 4 pages individually to a color printer, and then insert into the thesis. Or he can send the whole job to a color printer and pay a whole lot more, but he gets one-stop printing. Wouldn't it be great if he could send the whole job to a single printer and get billed for 96 bw pages and 4 color pages. Of course this requires a printer that can provide separate pagecount information. Anyone doing this and/or know of a relatively fast printer that would support such an approach?
Also, thanks to those who responded to my query about the Phaser 7700 to-the-tray accounting.
