Dear list, we've encountered some difficulties on printing to an lprng spooler on solaris through an windows 2000 lpr client (the standard lpr client distributed within the system).
Sometimes, or better, from some machines, the jobs it's not printed and the error claimed is the following: Status: ric2: Check_for_missing files: missing data file 'dfA010ADDR130.192.239.226' at 15:56:43.046 it seems like the problem of "missing datafiles" seen on the list ? However from some other win2000 client we can print, and the spool is named with the hostname and not with the ip-address ... Note that this behaviour appear from an upgrade from LPRng3.7.4 to 3.8.8 (and now when i'm writing the 3.8.9 is the compile phase ...) Thanks. -- Dott.
