I have been fighting the dreaded PDF to PostScript conversion problem.
The finalists are:
AFPL GhostScript 7.04
www.ghostscript.com
Xpdf 1.0
version 1.00, 2002-feb-01
The Xpdf software and documentation are
copyright 1996-2002 Derek B. Noonburg.

Some PDF files convert on both
Some older PDF files convert only with GS
Some older PDF files convert only with Xpdf
Some newer PDF files don't convert.
Bah, HumBug!
I don't know what to do at this point. Any suggestions?
