Does anyone have any pointers re: Stuck for now with a need to print from newly installed RH 7.2 to HP970C on Windows 98 box. RH out-of-the-box install uses LPRng but with mf_wrapper/magicfilter-t/etc and seems to offer rudimentary control over printing via smb, but little control over orientation, page length, page width etc. No apparent recognition of -Z options or things like :pw and/or :pl in printcap.
Switched to ifhp, and with the help of LPRng Cookbook and HOW_TO, things got instantly better with regard to -Z options but still not having any luck controlling lines/page or characters/line via :pl and :pw respectively. Would appreciate any feedback regarding success of others in controlling pl and pw on an smb queue, either via printcap or via -Z.
