Hmmm... I don't know why I did it this way.
At one time I had a long talk with some folks
at MIT about what to do and they suggested doing it this way.
I was under the impression that if you did not supply a domain then
the KRB5 library would append the 'appropriate' domain based on the
current domain, but I am probably wrong about this.

I think that using kerberos_id is the best solution.
