The current release of ifhp seems to be able to handle almost
all of the problems that crop up EXCEPT for a silly issue
with some printers that do not return 'end of job' status
correctly. I am working with Jim Trokcji to fix this, and it should
be better.

Currently, it seems to work with all the printers EXCEPT the
Ricoh printers that Jim has. I would wait a bit and monitor
the list for a while.

You might want to try: ifhp-3.5.7
This seems to be the most flexible so far, but as I said,
except for the Ricoh printers which are giving me ulcers.
