Hi list! I use LPRng-3.8.8 and have set in lpd.conf: done_jobs=5 done_jobs_max_age=3600
What I want is to have at most 5 jobs listed, and the oldest one shouldn't be older than 1 hour. If jobs are older than done_jobs_max_age then they should not be listed by lpq, no matter if there are less than done_jobs jobs. But what I get on one of my queues is: # date Fri Apr 5 11:56:45 CEST 2002 # lpq -Phplj336 Printer: hplj336@diablo (dest lpt1@hplj336) Queue: no printable jobs in queue Server: no server active Status: job 'deutschm@diablo+401' saved at 09:01:51.135 Filter_status: done at 09:01:22.026 Rank Owner/ID Class Job Files Size Time done deutschm@diablo+557 A 557 (STDIN) 43967 08:39:26 done deutschm@diablo+401 A 401 (STDIN) 763024 09:01:21 This jobs shouldn't be listed! They are older than 2 hours! Is this a bug or is the interaction between done_jobs and done_jobs_max_age working in another way and not the one I supposed it to be?
