Hello. I have compiled and installed ifhp 3.5.7 under Solaris 2.6 (and +) and found quickly a big trouble with the way it runs with Tektronix Phaser 5xx/8xx printers.
In fact the trouble comes from the fact that this version insists on using pjl code for everything (pagecount, sync, display message) even if these printers do not use (and provide) it as noted in ifhp.conf. Using ifhp 3.5.2 works fine under the same configuration, even the same ifhp.conf. Unfortunately, these printers do NOT like at all receiving such characters and you have to reboot them...
