I have just installed Redhat 7,3 on a machine that used to run RedHat
6.2. I'm using LPRng 3.8.9

I have a network printer on 10.0.0.105, and I simply want to setup
LPRng to print raw to that printer (as I have done many times)

I have tried both manual and using printconf-gui, printconf-tui.. all
with the same result. I end up with the simple /etc/printcap.local :

Brother:\
        :sd=/var/spool/lpd/Brother:\
        :mx#0:\
        :sh:\
        :rm=10.0.0.105:\
        :rp=:

but whenever I try to print anything, like
lpr /etc/printcap

I never suceed. lpr tries three times and gives up. And, I have
problems using 'lprm' It simply hangs and does apparantly nothing.

I can see that the file status.pr should give me a hint, but I really
don't understand what it is saying. I would be very happy if someone
would help me out :
