When we were running ifhp-3.5.10, I have noticed that in many or all
of spool directories files with names like ifhpkbaG7h, ifhpQFa4jW,
ifhpxqaWnC, etc started to appear and stay there forever. In the
spooling directory of our busiest network printers there are over 100
such files and they're using quite a lot of disk space. According to
file utility, all of the are postscript files. Not every print job
leaves a file in the spool directory. Could this be somehow be related
to my problem with vanishing print jobs that I mentioned a few days
ago? Earlier today I downgraded ifhp to version 3.5.1 and nuked spool
directories for all queues. As of right now, I don't see any of those
ifhpXXXXXX files in the spool directories. So, I am assuming there is
a bug in ifhp-3.5.1. In addition, because of increasing user
confusion, we have downgraded LPRng to version 3.6.26. I haven't heard
of any complaints about print jobs vanishing from the queue at random
today, so I guess, this was introduced by a bug in LPRng-3.8.15 and/or
ifhp-3.5.10
