Hi,
few more suspicious lines from lpd-3.5.18 on Solaris 2.6.
I tried to print a file, lpd gets stuck after executing
input filer (I use magicfileter), but as the old lpd daemon
works fine on this box, I don't know yet what to think of this.
So, once again, I tried to print afile:
1663: chdir("/var/spool/lpd/local") = 0
1663: open("control.pr", O_RDONLY|O_NOCTTY) = 4
1663: fstat(4, 0xEFFFD450) = 0
1663: lseek(4, 0, SEEK_SET) = 0
1663: read(4, " c h a n g e = 0 x 1\n", 10240) = 11
1663: read(4, 0xEFFFAB48, 10240) = 0
1663: close(4) = 0
1663: sigprocmask(SIG_BLOCK, 0xEFFFD858, 0xEFFFDD38) = 0
1663: sigprocmask(SIG_BLOCK, 0xEFFFD858, 0xEFFFDD38) = 0

1663: close(5) = 0
1663: open("control.pr", O_RDONLY|O_NOCTTY) = 5
In the logfile of lpd I see:
2002-09-24-22:00:05.953 pf-i400 lp-pf-i400: Update_status: no identifier for 'hfA662'
and in the status file in spooling directory I see:
