Some weeks ago I wrote to this list my questions in
connections with our accounting problems with this printer.

My accounting.sh gives almost "0" as pagecounter for a job.
In the list archive I had found a message from 08/2002:

...I found in this message a number of xml-codes of the following
   form:

<printerdata
   name="hp4100"
   pagecount_oid=".1.3.6.1.2.1.43.10.2.1.4.1.1"
   display_oid=".1.3.6.1.2.1.43.16.5.1.2.1.1"
  jobstatus_oid=".1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.9.4.2.1.1.6.5.15"
  status_cancelled="10"
  status_ok="5">
  <status> </status>
  </printerdata>

I don't understand, what I can do with this codes ???

My attempt: I've written (in perl) a tcp-client, which can connect to a
            given tcp-Server

If I give the <printerdata...></printerdata> codes to the
hp4100-integrated web-server ...

I got
:::::
Server:> HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request

Can anybody help me ???

MfG Margrit Lottmann
