Hi, I looked through the mailing list archive and the lprng documentation, but I don't seem to be able to solve this mystery:
Whenever I remove an active print job from the queue with lprm the spooler is inactive for a few minutes, before it starts printing the next job. However, using lpc start will restart the spooler right away. What parameter would I have to adjust to have lprng start printing the next job in the queue right away? What is the reson behind this behavior?
