Personally I use it to enter print job info into a mysql database. There is some info about it in the FAQ. As it stands, ifhp runs it at the start and end of a job. It passes the info you would get in the accounting file into the script as command line arguments. You can customize it by pasting in your own shell code, or replacing it entirely with your own program. It really is just a skeleton script that doesn't do much until you build onto it. I have found it very helpful for building quota/billing systems.
