I tried LPRng-1.3.15 with HP-UX 11i late last year and ran into
similar problems with ifhp hanging.  It worked perfectly on a sun,
so I jumped ship.  

I keep meaning to try it again on the HP, but haven't got there yet.
I'm really thinking it's an issue with HPUX 11i, not with your
install or printers or anything.

Just thought you'd like to know that it isn't just you. :-)
