The (PJL) UEL command <ESC>%-12345X will force termination of the job,
and it should flush... Ummm... ahhh... well... not quite.
There are some printers that have a 'power save' feature that will wait
until you have sent a 'reasonable' number of pages OR you have not sent some
for some timeout period (usually 3 minutes). You send the job... wait...
nothing comes out... you curse... send the job again... and get two pages
printed.
This is very annoying.
Ummm... and it appears that it is almost impossible to change the timeout
without using the SNMP 'private MIB' for the printer.
sigh...
